Dear ITM

Thank you so much for all the watermelons we really appreciate them. Everyone loved them they were really juicy and refreshing they gave me lots of energy for the rest of the day. I really think the rest of the school loved them too.

They were really juicy and refreshing. The juice dribbled down my face and my hands were really sticky.It was some of the best watermelon I have ever tryed they were so yummm.            

Thank you so so much for letting mangonui school fundraise at your fishing competition. Thank you so much for the watermelons to thank you so much.

The Brain

1. How big is your brain?

  A.Your brain is the size of your two fists but together.

2. Why is it important that your Amygdala feels safe and happy?

  A.You need to keep your Amygdala happy and safe because when you're sad you won't learn anything.

3. Why do we need a Hippocampus?

   A.You need your Hippocampus because it remembers addresses,                special dates and your friends.  

4. When we are feeling stressed - what can we do to calm ourselves down?

    A.Take deep breaths and play a game with your friends.

5. What needs to be calm in order for our Prefrontal Cortex to pass information onto our Hippocampus?

   A.amygdala

6. What was them most interesting fact you learnt about your brain?

  A.You have at least 70 thousand thoughts a day.

Beach Day

Fresh Wiped Cream

All I could feel were the waves crashing against my legs as I dove under the water. The smell of salt ran up my nose. All I could hear were people screaming as the wave crashed against them. The waves looked like fresh whipped cream. I tried to swim over to Mr Sedcole but the sand dropped under my feet. I faced the wave in shock it was giant!!! My mouth drooped I swallowed the salty water it was disgusting.

I’m for CATS!!!

If your not for cats I'm going to convince you so get prepared to get your mind blown.

This is my first reason, Cats are one of New Zealand’s most popular pets.

We have nearly 1.5 million of them. In fact, New Zealand has more cats per person than any other country.

my second reason is that cats kill mice so if you have mice in your house your cat will kill them.

My third reason is cats will never judge you the way you        are.

My fourth reason is In ancient Egypt, people worshipped cats. One cat goddess was called Bastet.

This is my last reason why I'm for cats. Cats provide company when you are sad or bored.

I'm for Guy Fawkes

How can people not want Guy Fawkes they're beautiful. It's a time to celebrate with friends and family. They're also colourful. If you are against Guy Fawkes you need to hear me out we need Guy fawkes......

My first Reason is it is a time together with you friends and family. It is so fun play and watching guy fawkes with your family and friends.

My second reason is Its so Colourful. They're like big clouds of colour their Amazing to watch and so so so so PRETTY. How can people not like them??? am I right yeah I am!!!!

My third reason is its helpful for Business.

It raises money for starship hospital  and for charities like one's to do surgery on kids ears so they can hear and more reasons like this.

How could you possibly take guy fawkes away from us.  

Nothing can stop us.
