Yesterday on the 30th of November  18 kids went Kayaking in Taipa.  The first thing that we did was go into the cars and drove down to the yacht club to unpack the kayaks and the paddles. It was easy to kayak down the river because  of the tidial current Jade and I where in a green kayak .

 We went through the mangroves it was funny when we got stuck I had to get out because our kayak went into the mangroves. So I had to get out of the kayak and push it, it was hard to push because Jade was in the kayak. Soon after that we stoped and had lunch  we had hot chips and pizza bread. 

On the way back Jade asked Mr parks if he could tow us back in his boat to the yacht club so he did. Isaac fell out of his kayak when 
Mr parks turned around IT WAS SO FUNNY!!!!! 

                        Remember when ...

I stared at the colours  spread all over the sky.

I felt the frozen ice on my hand from my juicy.

I slowly sipped on my fanta .

The sound of fire works filled my ears.

The lovely smell of sausages rushed through my nose.  

                                   

Jump Jam

Jump Jam is the best!!!

Surely you would agree that Jump Jam is so AMAZING.

My first reason is Jump Jam warms you up in the morning so you are ready to learn your math, reading and writing.

Secondly you communicate with other people so you make more friends. I really like seeing the whole school together at Jump Jam each day.

My last reason is you can laugh at your friends when your friends do the worng dance moves it is so funny.

I hope you agree that Jump Jam is the best.

Technology should be banned

Technology Should Be Banned!!!

Every one should only have one hour on their technology devices a day. If you want a good job you need lot of skills. 

Reason.1 SO,SO, Unhealthy if you play video games all day you will go yellow  i'm seureos it heaped to my step sister because she dident get enough fresh air.

Reason.2 You will get fat and unfit you will eat to much lollies and junk food when you are playing the game.

My last reason is you wont make friends because you will stay inside and wont meet any one I go to the play-ground  to make friends and weekend sports.

Now are you convinced that you should only have one hour a day on technology.       

Ivy's Birthday

Every time it's one of our birthdays we have a special dinner and we play board games. Tonight it is Ivy's birthday. This is what happened......

Ivy thought all her presents were going to be boring.
So when we got home Sarah covered Ivy's eyes and I led her to her bed room "Are you ready" I said. Sarah took her hands off Ivy's head Ivy didn't say anything she was so happy she had a big smile "we gave your room a make over" Sarah said. Ivy was hugging her mum over an over again. After a few minutes Ivy was pulling all her presents out, her favourite  was the slushy maker. She also got new pillow cases, duvets and photo frames. 

Tonight we are playing pictionary my Dad and I are in one team and Ivy and Dallas are in the other team.

Rubbish

Rusty Cans

Rubbish smells like old ladies under pants with poo at the bottom of the undies.

Rubbish look's like rusty cans that have been stuck together.

Rubbish feel's like hard crusty leaf's.

Rubbish sounds like plastic bags being crushed up.       


Rubbish tastes like vomit in a sweaty sock that a man wore for 60 year's.

Today Mr Matthews showed us Holly-Wood.Holly wood is when you fold a piece of paper and you draw two pictures one on the top and one on the bottom.then you rowl up the Top page then you rowl it out then it looks like it is moving I made four Holly-wood's it is so fun.   

Hi I'm Shayla and today I'm going

to tell you my favourite part of the class. 

My favourite part in the class is the corner of science books. I like doing science with my brother and my dad, also I like how all the teachers do different experiments with us.

We have three teachers and two teacher aides. We meet every day after lunch on our beautiful deck out side our classroom.

We have Kiwi Can which helps us learn good things like bouncing back and trying again. This term we are learning about our emotions.


That's the reason I love going to school

Do you know how to make a powered ghost?Well today I will show you how.

You will need: 
1. A piece of tissue and a piece of paper
2. A balloon
3. Scissors
4. A head with hair
5. Spooky music (optional) 
6. And tape

7. First cut out a ghost shape but don't make it so big because if it is to big it will not work as good as the small ghost. 

8. Next you tape the two ghosts to the table and then you can blow up a balloon. 


(I would use a small balloon if I was you because it works better then a big balloon.)

9. Now rub the balloon on your hair and hold
 the balloon over the tissue ghosts and hit the music on and party as long as you want with your ghosts.

How to make sherbet

How to make Sherbet

On Wednesday the 29th we made sherbet with 

Mrs A.

1.You will need these Ingredients:
(3 tablespoons) of citric-acid.
(7 tablespoons) of iceing sugar.
(1 1/4 tablespoons) of baking soda.
1 bag to put your sherbet in & a strew to eat the sherbet with. 
2.  After that you pore all the ingredients in to a Big Bowl and mixes it all up.
3. Now you can get your bag and fill it up with sherbet,once you do that you can stick your strew in your sherbet.
4.Now you can eat your sherbet all up.

My First Science Experiment

On Wednesday Mrs A took a group of kids to make crystals. The group included Shayla, Jade, Dylan, Erica, Lexi, Nevaeh and Nicklaus.  

First we got the rotten smelling jars. As we were smelling the jars Dylan nearly pucked when he smelt Mr A's jar of pickled onions. 

Next we had to get a teaspoon and salt. We sprinkled the salt on a big plate. We all had to squash the big lumps of salt on the plate. Once we did that we poured the hot water in the jars and we had to saturate the jar with salt. The teachers came around to check if it was a milky lemonade colour, that was what we were hoping it would be. 

After that we choose a piece of rock salt to tie on to the string. Once we did that we tied the string onto a popsicle stick. Finally we hung it across the top of the jar with the string hanging in the water and carefully put it on the windowsill.

Nothing Ever Happens

Nothing ever happens at my house.

It's all so normal.
I'm watching animal planet on TV. 

Dad is asleep snoring his head off.

Sarah is making mac-in-cheese for dinner.

Dallas is having a tantrum because he got his tablet taken off him. 

Suddenly colourful chocolate are para-shooting out of aeroplanes.

They have one hundred chocolates in one box.
The boxes are as heavy as a giant rock but they are so so yummy.

Blaze our dog is chasing Hiss the cat.

Pop is in the shed painting the bee hives.

Nan is baking a cake in the kitchen for dessert.

B-o-r-r-r-i-n-g.

Nothing ever happens at my house.

 Sparrows were singing beautifully in the distance.

The sun was sizzling in the blue sapphire sky.

 He saw The tall green trees swaying side to side in the light windy breeze.

He couldn't move a muscle because he felt so relaxed.

He was wondering "How am I going to have enough strength to get off my lazy butt and catch some delicious fish"

Tasha's Bad Problem

Once upon a time there lived a girl named Tasha. She was thirteen years old.  

Tasha lived in a house with her mum and her two brothers and two sisters. The house looked like a mansion. It had big gardens with flowers that sparkled in the sun, and a giant refreshing pool.

Tasha had one secret. She thought that she had the best voice in the world but the bad news was, she had the worst voice ever. It sounded like she was screeching.

One day Tasha sang in front of a crowd of people. She got laughed at by lots of people. Tasha got so embarrassed. She dug her face into her hands. Her face went red, as she blinked  back tears. 

After that she never sang in front of people ever again because she learnt her lesson.
